To stay sustainable, I began searching for another business that could use the space year-round.

Through what I can only describe as the right introduction at just the right time, I was introduced to the mattress manufacturing industry. That introduction revealed something surprising: there were major inefficiencies in how mattresses were priced and sold. Big brands were spending millions on advertising, flashy showrooms, and return allowances—costs that were ultimately passed down to the customer.

In other words, the average person was paying far more for a mattress than what it actually cost to make.
